Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational efficiency of vessels, ensuring cost-effective management, maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure ship availability aligns with budgetary constraints while adhering to safe operational practices.
- Take charge of the overall management and technical operations of assigned vessels.
- Coordinate vessel dry docking, repairs, and surveys as necessary, including determining specifications for maintenance.
- Monitor and evaluate all operational aspects of assigned vessels, focusing on safety and environmental compliance.
Maintain strict adherence to the company’s operational standards to ensure a seamless, efficient, and customer-centric service while complying with relevant international and flag state regulations.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee the inventory management of mooring, safety, lifesaving, and firefighting equipment.
- Participate in vetting and third-party inspections.
Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will hold a Class 1 Certificate of Competency as a Deck or Engineer Officer, or possess relevant experience in a supervisory capacity aboard seagoing vessels. Applications from former Royal Navy personnel are encouraged.
