EPOS Technical Support Specialist

Job Overview

Position: EPOS Technical Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid (50% In office)

Role Summary
As part of our transformative Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our retail systems. In this position, you will analyze, design, test, and assist the business in identifying optimal solutions, working closely with various teams across the organization.
Your analytical skills will be essential in engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and guide them toward effective resolutions.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in a crucial area of the business by:
- Identifying business opportunities
- Mapping business processes and operational value streams supported by technical solutions
- Collaborating with the Product Owner to refine user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participating in planning sessions and creating iteration plans
- Conducting research, design, prototyping, and exploratory activities
- Creating and validating work products as defined by their features
- Deploying work products to staging and production environments

Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Zonal Business systems or a comparable EPOS package
- Experience in a similar Product Operations, Helpdesk, or Contact Centre role
- Background in hospitality or a fast-paced industry such as retail is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues
- Logical reasoning and a solutions-oriented approach
