Position: EPOS Technical Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid (50% In office)
Role Overview
As a key member of our Technology team, you will play a crucial role in the modernization of our retail systems. In this position, you will analyze, develop, test, and assist the business in identifying optimal solutions, working collaboratively with various teams.
Engaging with stakeholders across the organization, you will utilize your analytical skills to guide them in resolving their challenges.
Your Responsibilities
- Cultivate expertise in a vital area of the business by:
- Identifying business opportunities
- Mapping business processes and operational value streams supported by technical solutions
- Collaborating with the Product Owner to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participating in planning sessions and creating iteration plans
- Conducting research, design, prototyping, and exploratory activities
- Developing and testing deliverables as defined by their features
- Implementing deliverables in staging and production environments
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Zonal Business systems or a comparable EPOS package
- Background in Product Operations, Helpdesk, or Contact Centre roles
- Experience in the hospitality sector or a similarly dynamic industry, such as retail, is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues
- Logical reasoning and a solutions-focused mindset
