Logistics Coordinator

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our dispatch operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from our manufacturing facilities to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the preparation and shipment of finished goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Transportation Management: Arrange for transportation and shipping of goods within the UK and internationally, selecting the most cost-effective and efficient methods.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and compliant with regulatory requirements for exporting goods.
- Invoice Processing: Process and approve invoices for all shipments, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Run SAP reports to analyze shipment data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with company policies.
- Support and Clerical Duties: Provide administrative support to the dispatch team, undertaking tasks such as data entry, document retrieval, and other clerical duties as required.
- Education and Skills: A good standard of education, with strong numeracy and literacy skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Office 365 applications, with knowledge of SAP an advantage.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a busy manufacturing office environment, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Qualities: Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
