Position: Human Resources Officer - Corporate Headquarters

Location: Bournemouth

Compensation: Up to £26,000 DOE - includes pension contributions, 25 days of annual leave increasing with tenure, 25% discount in our retail outlets, a hybrid work arrangement, and a pet-friendly workplace.

We are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity for a proactive and meticulously organized Human Resources Officer to become a vital part of our vibrant team.

This role is full-time, comprising 37.5 hours weekly. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility in start and end times. The working model consists of three days in the office and two days of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

As the Human Resources Officer, you will deliver support across HR, Recruitment, and Training functions. Your duties will encompass HR advisory and administrative assistance, alongside participation in various projects. This role promises a diverse and engaging experience for those eager to enhance their HR knowledge.

Below is a summary of your responsibilities, as our team engages in a variety of tasks daily:

HR & Administrative Functions

  • Manage all administrative tasks within established timelines, including dispatching new hire documentation, processing personal information, organizing filing systems, and handling invoices.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all staff members.
  • Ensure prompt processing of employee relations tasks, including contracts, correspondence, reference requests, and other HR-related documents.
  • Provide professional guidance to all management personnel.
  • Oversee and coordinate people-related administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the design and formatting of documents.
  • Organize training sessions.
  • Manage the distribution of materials as required.
  • Support in the creation, development, and delivery of training resources.

Recruitment

  • Ensure compliance with immigration documentation for all staff members.
  • Aid in organizing Assessment Centers, Induction Days, and other recruitment activities.
  • Address recruitment inquiries on a daily basis.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for advancing a career in HR. Previous experience in an HR setting is essential, along with familiarity with employee relations and employment legislation. Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills are crucial. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
