Child Support Facilitator (Primary Education)

Location: Preston

Hours: Full-time, 8.45am to 15.15pm

Hourly Pay: £12.90

This position presents a remarkable opportunity to play a vital role in the growth and welfare of children within a nurturing educational framework.

Position Summary:

As a Child Support Facilitator in our Primary Education environment, you will deliver crucial teaching assistant support, concentrating on assisting students who may face challenges in their educational experiences. Your background as a youth support professional will be essential in recognizing and addressing the unique needs of these children, thereby cultivating a supportive and inclusive school community.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Assist in implementing educational programs and support sessions under the supervision of teaching staff.

2. Actively engage with students, promoting participation and encouraging positive behavior.

3. Foster the social and emotional growth of children, ensuring a safe and encouraging learning atmosphere.

4. Collaborate effectively with team members to support the well-being and advancement of all students.

Qualifications:

1. Prior experience as a youth support worker or in a comparable role is highly preferred.

2. A sincere dedication to working with children and aiding them in overcoming obstacles.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

4. Capability to work cooperatively as part of a team.

5. Relevant qualifications or training in youth support or education are beneficial.

All pay rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.

We conduct safeguarding checks on all personnel in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education,' which may also involve an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
