Location: Oakfield House School

Salary: £19,233.75 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.00pm

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated Educational Support Facilitators to join our collaborative team at Oakfield House School, part of Options Autism. In this fulfilling role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the educational experiences of our pupils, helping them to unlock their potential and achieve their goals.

As an Educational Support Facilitator, you will work closely with our exceptional pupils, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive in their educational journey. Your role will involve preparing learning materials, facilitating engaging classroom activities, and providing both emotional and physical support to the pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating enjoyable and educational activities to promote learning.
  • Managing daily schedules that include activities, breaks, and meals.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks, including feeding and hygiene.
  • Adhering to safeguarding principles to ensure the welfare of pupils.
  • Meeting the cognitive, social, and emotional needs of each pupil.
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic educational environment.
  • Encouraging the growth of self-esteem and independence in pupils.

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and a grade C or above in English or equivalent.
