The Role
As a prominent provider of Compressed Air Solutions, United Air Power Ltd is in search of a skilled Sales Engineer to enhance our dynamic team.

This position is centered on assisting enterprises in identifying, assessing, and cultivating opportunities that yield cost-effective, outcome-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of project pre-engineering, complemented by business insight acquired from experience in an industrial environment, particularly in Compressed Air systems, including Rotary Screw Compressors, Air Treatment, and Nitrogen Generation technologies.

Requirements:
A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering and a proven track record in a technical commercial role within an industrial B2B setting.
This is a full-time permanent position requiring 40 hours per week.

Salary Range:
Basic £42,000 - £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Employees are entitled to 25 paid holidays per year, increasing by one additional day for every three years of service, up to a maximum of 30 days.

Experience Required:
Minimum NVQ level 3, and/or City & Guilds or BTEC ONC/HNC/D qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a Compressed Air Commercial Sales or Technical Role.
A comprehensive understanding of the environmental impacts and considerations when specifying compressed air solutions.

The ability to consult professionally on product specifications and align the technical advantages of a solution with customer requirements and long-term business objectives.

Creating, developing, and delivering cost-effective solutions for clients while ensuring commercially viable outcomes for the organization.

Demonstrating the capability to excel in securing and retaining business while collaborating effectively within a team, exhibiting strong customer-facing communication skills and a proactive attitude towards continuous training and self-improvement.

Building and nurturing business relationships characterized by transparency, trust, and integrity.

The Package:

The starting salary is negotiable within the range of £42,000.00 to £47,000.00 per annum, based on experience and previous performance.

Basic salary supplemented by a sales commission of 1% of gross sales.

Upon completion of a 6-month probation period, employees will be eligible for the Company Private Health Care Scheme, Company Sick Pay, and a generous Pension Scheme. Holiday entitlement includes 25 days of paid leave per annum, increasing by one day for every three years of service, up to a maximum of 30 days.

The company will provide a vehicle for business and authorized personnel use, with travel around the UK required on an ad hoc basis.
