Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategy Development: Identify trends in the marketplace and monitor the competitive landscape to determine the impact on our strategic roadmap and uncover opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Strategic Relationships: Leverage strategic relationships with customers, competitors, suppliers, and professional organizations to evaluate internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth.
  • Corporate Strategic Planning: Partner and support in the development, management, and execution of the strategic planning process, partnering across the organization to deliver long-term strategic plans.
  • Strategic Projects Execution: Work alongside business units and other functions to enable and ensure the success of major growth initiatives, owning and driving the execution of selective strategic projects.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Identify and build a pipeline of M&A opportunities in collaboration with business units and aligned to the strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including department heads, managers, and employees, fostering collaboration and alignment on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Considerable Work Experience: Acquired at a top-tier consulting firm and/or in an internal strategy department for a high-growth organization.
  • Undergraduate Degree: With a focus in Finance or Commerce. Attainment of a MBA, CFA, CIV, or ACA is desirable.
  • Successful Track Record: In evaluating business and/or major capital initiatives that have had a high impact on a high-growth company.
  • Proven Ability: To analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on strategic questions and draw conclusions from large and/or complex data sources.
  • Proven Ability: To partner with other functions/business leaders on complex problems and business issues.
  • Ability to Influence: And guide stakeholders.
