Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated coordinator to join our innovative service initiative within Pennine Care, specifically as part of our Children and Young People Crisis Support Services. This role encompasses various teams, including the Home Intensive Treatment Team, Rapid Response, and Enhanced Rapid Response Pediatric Support. If you are passionate about providing exceptional service and ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients, this position may be ideal for you. The role requires flexibility to cover a range of shifts within our 7-day operational framework, with full-time hours expected.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be integral to the new crisis support service at Pennine Care. Strong communication and administrative skills are essential. The coordinator must effectively manage their time and demonstrate adaptability to meet the service's demands. The role requires the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team. Problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities are crucial. Responsibilities include maintaining precise records of service activities and supporting clinical operations through various administrative systems and processes. The position involves interaction with children, young people, their families, and the public, both via telephone and in person.

Job Specifications

Qualifications

Required

  • Proficiency in typing and word processing (RSA2 or equivalent)
  • Strong educational background, including GCSEs in English and Mathematics
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent professional experience
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

  • Relevant qualifications such as PDCMS
  • Experience in the NHS or a busy office environment
  • ECDL certification

Experience

Required

  • Background in general office or secretarial work
  • Experience in organizing computer files and spreadsheets
  • Proficiency in minute-taking and accurate meeting documentation
  • Audio typing skills
  • Familiarity with electronic patient record systems

Preferred

  • Experience with NCRS/Paris systems
  • Knowledge of SMART
  • Involvement in audit support activities

Knowledge Base
