Health & Safety Officer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health & Safety Officer to contribute to the success of a leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with health and safety laws and drive health & safety performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate hazards to ensure a safe work environment
  • Develop and implement safety programs to improve conditions
  • Communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve health and safety goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a health & safety officer in a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations and standards
  • Professional certifications in health & safety management
  • Development and delivery of in-house health and safety training
  • NEBOSH certificate (diploma preferred) in Occupational Safety and Health
  • Proven knowledge and experience in BSI ISO45001 management and internal/external auditing
  • Proficiency in using safety management software and tools
  • Competence in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
