We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Named Safeguarding Professional for Adult Safeguarding. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Safeguarding Team and make a positive difference in the lives of our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of safeguarding strategies across Navigo, ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines.
- Provide effective multi-agency liaison and training on safeguarding adults, domestic abuse, Prevent, and Multi-Agency Public Protection (MAPPA).
- Work collaboratively with the Safeguarding Boards for Adults and Children, Navigo named Doctors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective safeguarding practices.
- Provide clinical leadership and advice to multi-disciplinary professionals, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff in safeguarding and public protection.
- Professional qualification in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Medical, or Occupational Therapy.
- Study or equivalent experience at master's level.
- Highly developed specialist knowledge of safeguarding, gained over a number of years, equivalent to master's level.
- Safeguarding Children Level 4 and Safeguarding Adults Level 4.
- Supervision Training or Qualification.
- Prevent Training Level 3.
- MAPPA and ASB Training & Knowledge.
- Leadership Training or Qualification.
- Safeguarding Supervision Training.
