About the Role

Hays Travel is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our successful teams in our branches. As a Travel Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers, helping them plan and book their dream holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Identify and meet customers' needs by providing expert travel advice and recommendations.
  • Use your knowledge of the travel industry to promote offers and generate customer engagement and sales leads.
  • Participate in promotional events and activities to increase exposure of the branch and drive business growth.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the branch, including administrative duties and following processes accurately.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience as a Travel Consultant or in a related role.
  • A proven sales record and excellent communication skills.
  • Good accuracy and numerical skills, as well as enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Competent IT skills and a good working knowledge of tour operator systems.
  • Excellent travel product knowledge and a passion for the travel industry.
