RSK Group, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bridge Inspector Trainee in Crewe, Cheshire.

As a Trainee Bridge Inspector, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of bridge inspection and maintenance. You will work closely with our experienced team members to gain hands-on experience and learn the latest techniques and technologies in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of projects and reports for clients
  • Conduct inspections and surveys of bridges and other structures
  • Maintain accurate records of actions and findings
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Adhere to company safety, environmental, and quality management system procedures

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A clean full UK driving license is essential, as you will be required to travel throughout the UK for work.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Motivated to learn and develop a career in the engineering sector

Desirable Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • IT skills, including MS Office
  • Communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
