Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Consultant to become a valuable member of our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Residential Services Manager and will be tasked with delivering a comprehensive housing management service to our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass building effective relationships with clients, guiding potential residents through property viewings, assisting with tenancy management issues, and ensuring that clients are well-informed about their rights and obligations as outlined in their tenancy agreements.

Additionally, you will support clients in accessing appropriate housing benefit assistance or financial guidance to help them manage rent and service charges. You will also facilitate referrals for assistive technologies, aids, and adaptations that promote client independence. Regular site inspections and evaluations will be part of your duties to ensure that our facilities are fully operational and compliant with Health and Safety regulations, while also overseeing the quality of services provided by contractors.

Flexibility to travel between various locations is essential, and a full UK driving licence along with access to your own vehicle is required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working with elderly individuals and a proven ability to cultivate a cooperative and independent atmosphere.
  • Strong commitment to promoting Equality and Diversity.
  • Ability to modify communication styles to meet individual needs or when conveying technical information.
  • Prior experience in administrative roles, including numerical tasks.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of a full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle.
