Cheshire East Council seeks a dedicated Senior Residential Childcare Worker to lead our specialist residential homes and shape the future of our provision for vulnerable children.

As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you will work closely with the Registered Manager and a team of professionals to ensure the well-being of our children. Your role involves shift work, leadership responsibilities, and a focus on delivering exceptional care.

About You:

If you have experience in leading teams within Residential Children's Homes, a passion for making a difference in young lives, and a commitment to excellence, we encourage your application. Experience in working with trauma-affected youth is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to the Statement of Purpose
  • Lead by example, promoting a person-centered approach
  • Oversee daily operations and staff management
  • Support the development of staff and maintain a safe and compliant environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • L3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or relevant degree
  • Leadership experience in a similar setting
  • Experience in successful Ofsted-registered EBD children's homes
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
