Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Manager

Cheshire East Council is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Residential Childcare Manager to join our team. As a Senior Residential Childcare Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Registered Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the Statement of Purpose is adhered to
  • Leading the team on shift and acting up in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Developing systems for the efficient administration of the home
  • Managing staff rotas and ensuring they meet the needs of the home
  • Responsibility for daily budgeting and working within budgetary guidelines

Requirements:

  • L3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (required) or relevant degree
  • Leadership experience
  • Up-to-date training record
  • Relevant experience of working in successful Ofsted-registered EBD children's homes with good or outstanding ratings
