Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Consultant to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Residential Services Manager and play a key role in delivering comprehensive housing management support to our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass fostering strong relationships with residents, guiding potential clients through property viewings, and assisting with tenancy management issues, ensuring that residents are well-informed about their rights and obligations as outlined in their tenancy agreements.

Additionally, you will aid residents in accessing appropriate housing benefit support or financial guidance to assist with rent and service charge payments. You will also be responsible for coordinating referrals for assistive technologies, aids, and modifications that promote resident independence. Regular site inspections and assessments will be part of your duties to ensure that the facilities are fully operational and compliant with Health and Safety regulations, while also overseeing the quality of services provided by contractors, such as cleaning and landscaping.

Flexibility is essential, as travel between various sites will be required. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are necessary.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working with elderly populations and a proven ability to cultivate a collaborative and independent atmosphere.
  • Strong commitment to promoting Equality and Diversity.
  • Ability to tailor communication styles to meet individual needs, especially when conveying technical information.
  • Experience in administrative tasks, including numerical responsibilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of a full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle.
