Job Description:
We are seeking a Casual SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Casual SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a specialist provision for young people with SEN and SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Build positive relationships with students and support their engagement.
- Support the general class teacher and participate in the planning and evaluation of learning activities.
- Provide meaningful feedback on pupil attainment and progress.
- Promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural and physical development through the curriculum.
Requirements:
- No specific qualifications necessary, but a care/support/health background is desirable.
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time, with options for temp to perm available.
- PAYE Contract with a competitive hourly rate of £12.90+ per hour.
