As a Deputy Outpatient Manager at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading clinical excellence in outpatient services.

With a strong focus on quality performance and financial plans, you will assist in the operational delivery of outpatient services, ensuring the efficient running of the department and clinical work in the department.

You will seek and employ innovative methods of improving service delivery, aligning with the 5 CQC Key lines of Enquiry, and aim to achieve Good and Outstanding ratings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering key quality performance and financial plans & service enhancements.
  • Assisting in the operational delivery of outpatient services, ensuring the efficient running of the department, including clinical work in the department.
  • Seeking and employing innovative methods of improving service delivery in line with the 5 CQC Key lines of Enquiry, aiming to achieve Good and Outstanding ratings.
  • Ensuring Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice.
  • Carrying out both clinical & managerial duties and audits.
  • Leading by example in providing excellent patient care.
  • Training and developing more junior team members.
