In your capacity as an Assistant Outpatient Services Manager, you will be registered with the relevant regulatory body and possess the necessary qualifications and experience, including NMC registration. Your leadership capabilities, combined with your post-registration experience in managing patient care, will encompass a variety of specialties including Cardiac, Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynaecology, and Urology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive quality performance and financial objectives while enhancing service delivery.
  • Support the operational management of outpatient services, ensuring the department runs efficiently, which will include clinical responsibilities.
  • Explore and implement innovative strategies to improve service delivery in alignment with the 5 CQC Key Lines of Enquiry, consistently striving for Good and Outstanding ratings.
  • Ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management practices are integrated into daily operations.
  • Perform both clinical and managerial tasks, including conducting audits.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
