Job Summary
Hazelwood Care Home is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents and leading our team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent care standards.
- Develop and implement care plans, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage medications, audits, and rota management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Be responsible for the care home's operations out of hours, including bank holidays and weekends.
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current clinical best practices and regulatory requirements.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of £23.
- 36 hours per week, with some ad hoc nights required.
