Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Conduct audits and rota management to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Manage medications and supervise staff to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Take ownership of the care home during out-of-hours periods, including bank holidays and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in a senior nursing role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
