About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful individual to join our Clinical Audit team as a Clinical Audit Facilitator - Quality Improvement Specialist. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work, support, and contribute to the implementation and management of the Clinical Audit programme and framework at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of clinical audit activity and NICE guidance.
  • Plan and execute clinical audit activities according to the needs and priorities of the organization.
  • Participate in the planning and development of the Trust clinical audit programme in accordance with Trust Clinical priorities and objectives.
  • Support the delivery of national audits by obtaining data samples, performing data quality and validity checks, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Enhance and maintain databases and spreadsheets to enable collation of additional information for regular monitoring.
  • Communicate audit findings to relevant forums, including the Clinical Audit & Assurance Monitoring Group (CAAMG), SLT meetings, and other committee meetings chaired by a member of the Trust board.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within the NHS or other healthcare provider where electronic patient records are used.
  • Experience of conducting clinical audit projects/project management.
  • Experience of using qualitative and quantitative methodologies or undertaking data analysis.
  • Highly competent in the use of computers, including word, databases, spreadsheets, and report writing.
  • Excellent analytical skills using advanced EXCEL/SPSS, Powerpoint.
  • Experience of producing accurate and effective reports that are shared with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of analyzing and interpreting complex written and numerical data.
  • Experience of working on multiple projects.
