Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality patient-centered care
  • Contribute to the day-to-day management of the service and participate in strategic planning
  • Teach and train within the multidisciplinary service
  • Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
  • Active participation in continuing medical education

The successful applicant will be expected to take a lead role in developing links with the community heart function service and integrated heart function service. They will also contribute to the cardiac imaging service, with extensive experience in CMR and complex echo required. Additionally, they will contribute to the general cardiology service at the Lister, including participation in the Cardiologist of the week rota.
