We are recruiting for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

No two day s are the same at Lister Hospital.

You would be expected to rotate through the Cardiac Cathter labs, ambulatory and devices service to provide high quality diagnostic tests. Working as part of a dedicated team, who has patient care at the centre of everything they do

We are an active department providing a wide range of investigations.

We have two Catheter labs, one that has been newly refurbished. We perform more than 800 PCI’s, including pressure wires, OCT, IVUS, Rotablation and CTO procedures. We also support a busy PPCI service.

We implant more than 250 brady devices and ILR’s. Pacing clinics are run on a daily basis and we follow up both brady and complex devices

As a senior cardiac physiologist you will be required to work as an competent practitioner in invasive procedures and assist with device management. The post holder will work in co-operation with the Senior Chief Cardiac Physiologist and Cardiology consultants to deliver the highest standards of patient care..

The post holder will support and participate in the 24/7 PPCI service. The post holder will maintain a high standard of clinical practice and will act as a role model for junior members of staff within the cardiology departments. You may be required to rotate when required to areas of ambulatory cardiology across the East and North Hertfordshire Trust.
