This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the Cardiology department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The role is based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, with clinical outpatient activity at other sites. The Lister Hospital enjoys a unique geographical location close to London and Cambridge, and the Trust is renowned for its commitment to high standards of care and a friendly, supportive approach.
Main Duties- Contribute to the Heart Failure Service at East and North Herts NHS Trust, taking a lead role in developing links with the community heart function service and integrated heart function service.
- Contribute to the cardiac imaging service, with extensive experience in CMR and complex echo.
- Participate in the Cardiologist of the week rota, including weekend cardiology ward rounds.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities- Maintenance of high-quality patient-centred care.
- Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service and participation in strategic planning.
- Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service.
- Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity.
- Active participation in continuing medical education.
