About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Data Coordinator to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our data, supporting our clinicians and researchers in their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality reports and analysis to support clinical decision-making and research initiatives.
  • Maintain and update national audits for cardiology, including MINAP, BCIS, Heart Failure, and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
  • Extract, analyze, and input data from proformas onto databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of cardiology national databases and train others as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to identify data needs and develop solutions.

Requirements
  • Relevant NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent experience.
  • Administration experience, including data inputting and management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians and researchers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
