Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Management Associate to join our team. As a Data Management Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our data management projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all data management project management-related activities, including data setup, conduct, and closeout of assigned studies.
- Support the closeout/lock of study databases by coordinating with internal and external clients to ensure all final lock processes are completed.
- Execute and support all study activities, including study database verification, data transfer program validation, and preparation/delivery of data transmissions.
- Lead study database verification activities, including design, test data generation, execution, and documentation of study database verification test plans.
- Manage data transfer validation activities, including review of data transfer specifications, test data generation, and execution of validation test cases.
- Prepare and deliver routine and interim/final data transmissions, ensuring high-quality and timely data transmissions.
- Assist with routine data reconciliation activities to ensure timely delivery of accurate study data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- Programming/logic knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
- Time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a laboratory and/or a clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
- Occasional drives to site locations, occasional domestic travel.
- Rare exposure to skin and lung irritants, radiation, toxic materials, and hazardous waste.
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying of objects, including luggage and laptop computer.
