Job Title: Associate Director Quality

Adaptimmune is a leading cell therapy company that is revolutionizing the treatment of cancer. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Quality to join our team and lead our quality assurance efforts.

Job Summary

The Associate Director Quality will provide leadership and technical guidance to our quality team, ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems, managing quality events, and ensuring that our products meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement quality systems, including deviation, CAPA, and change control processes.
  2. Manage quality events, including investigations, audits, and corrective actions.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GMP, ISO, and other relevant standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality-related projects.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to quality team members.
  6. Develop and maintain quality-related documentation, including SOPs, protocols, and reports.
  7. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including senior management, quality team members, and other departments.
Requirements
  1. Master's degree in a scientific discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or pharmaceutical sciences.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
  3. Proven track record of developing and implementing quality systems, managing quality events, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain quality-related documentation.
  5. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
