Accounting Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Assistant to join our finance team at Page Personnel Finance. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Conduct regular ledger operations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Review and process reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle monthly payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure compliance with state revenue service regulations, maintaining accurate records and filing requirements.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department during internal and external audits, providing accurate and timely information.
- Prepare documents and interpret financial information for managers, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
