Position Overview:

As the Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to nurture our residents with the same care and compassion you would offer to your own family. Your daily tasks will be diverse, focusing on creating meaningful activities, leading engaging sessions, and facilitating events that encourage family interaction. You will curate a schedule of suitable, therapeutic, and leisure activities that enrich the lives of our residents.

Your Role:

We seek individuals who are kind-hearted and compassionate, eager to make a significant impact on the lives of others. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and the management team.
  • Experience in a Care Home setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A dedicated and organized mindset.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, totaling 36 hours per week.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in staff meetings.
  • Engage in personal and professional development to adapt to the evolving needs of the home, while also supporting staff training and development.
  • Understand and uphold safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring the protection of vulnerable adults while respecting their choices and autonomy.
  • Maintain compliance with fire safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Complete all required training as outlined by the organization.
