Activities and Engagement Coordinator

Position Overview:
As the Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator, your role is to nurture our residents with the same care and affection as you would your own family. Your daily responsibilities will be diverse, focusing on creating meaningful activities, leading engaging sessions, and facilitating events that promote family interaction. You will curate a schedule of suitable, therapeutic, and recreational activities designed to enrich the lives of our residents.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and the management team.
- Experience in a Care Home setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- A dedicated and organized approach to work.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, totaling 36 hours per week.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Engage in personal and professional development to adapt to the evolving needs of the home and partake in relevant training.
- Understand and uphold safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring the protection of vulnerable adults while respecting their choices and autonomy.
- Maintain compliance with fire safety protocols and health regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Complete all required training as specified by the organization.
