Position Overview:
As a Finance Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations within our organization, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.


Key Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with the following duties:

  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Oversee the management of Financial Accounts, including Payroll and Fleet Costs.
  • Conduct credit assessments for new clients and monitor existing credit limits.
  • Review and authorize bank and supplier account reconciliations.
  • Evaluate systems and procedures to identify potential fraud risks.
  • Manage expenses and payroll, including approvals, report reconciliations, and bonus calculations.
  • Handle VAT, PAYE, and Class 1A reconciliations and payments, as well as manage subcontractor tax schedules.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and collaborate with auditors for timely submissions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during interim and final audits.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, processes, and systems in compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify significant financial movements.
  • Utilize ERP systems and financial software proficiently.
  • Possess advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in the Fire Engineering or Construction sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.


Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar financial control position.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
