**Job Summary**

We are working with Spencer-Richardson to manage the recruitment of a new Financial Operations Coordinator within their Finance team.

The role is a full-time position in the office and reports to a highly experienced Finance Manager.

The successful candidate will manage a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Providing day-to-day financial administrative support
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting, including supplier and contractor payments
  • Managing the workflow of all documentation through the purchase ledger process
  • Inputting purchase invoices and staff expenses into Sage 50 Accounts, ensuring attention to detail and correct treatment of VAT/CIS tax
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations, investigating any variances identified
  • Guaranteeing a high quality of control and e-filing for all financial documents
  • Managing the Accounts Mailbox and resolving any Creditor's queries
  • Processing weekly subcontractor runs and uploading to Sage
  • Ownership of Subcontractor records and verifying new subcontractors on HMRC
  • Distributing Monthly Project Cost Reports from Sage to Contract Managers
  • Regularly auditing nominal codes to ensure correct allocation has been applied
  • Maintaining Asset Register and Depreciation Accounts
  • Assisting with sales ledger invoicing and payment run processing when required
  • Supporting the Finance Manager as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Working knowledge of CIS and Domestic Reverse charge
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Good all-round IT skills, including MS Office
