This position is a global role reporting directly to the VP of Strategy & Development. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in establishing and executing the strategic objectives of the organization.

This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote and office work, with occasional travel requirements.

COMPENSATION: £85K - £95K per annum (negotiable based on experience)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis

  • Monitor market trends and assess the competitive landscape to evaluate impacts on the organization's strategic roadmap and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with customers, competitors, suppliers, and professional organizations.
  • Analyze internal and external strategic challenges that may influence growth.

Corporate Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate in the development, management, and execution of the strategic planning process, working across the organization to achieve long-term strategic goals.

Execution of Strategic Projects

  • Partner with business units and other departments to facilitate and ensure the success of major growth initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the execution of selected strategic projects.

Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Identify and develop a pipeline of M&A opportunities in collaboration with business units, aligned with the overall strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including department heads, managers, and employees, to foster collaboration and alignment on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience gained from a leading consulting firm or within an internal strategy department of a high-growth organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Commerce; an MBA, CFA, CBV, or ACA is preferred.
  • Proven track record in assessing business and/or major capital initiatives that have significantly impacted a high-growth company.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate, and provide recommendations on strategic issues, drawing insights from large and complex data sets.
  • Strong capability to collaborate with other functions and business leaders on intricate problems and business challenges.
  • Proficient in influencing and guiding stakeholders.
