About the Role

Chubb Fire & Security Group is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our global strategy and development team, you will play a critical role in supporting the setting and execution of our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Identify trends in the marketplace and monitor the competitive landscape to determine its impact on our strategic roadmap and uncover opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Leverage strategic relationships with customers, competitors, suppliers, and professional organizations to evaluate internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth.
  • Corporate Strategic Planning: Partner and support in the development, management, and execution of the strategic planning process, partnering across the organization to deliver long-term strategic plans.
  • Strategic Projects Execution: Work alongside business units and other functions to enable and ensure the success of major growth initiatives, owning and driving the execution of selective strategic projects.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Identify and build a pipeline of M&A opportunities in collaboration with business units and aligned to our strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including department heads, managers, and employees, fostering collaboration and alignment on strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Considerable work experience acquired at a top-tier consulting firm and/or in an internal strategy department for a high-growth organization.
  • Education: Undergraduate degree with a focus in Finance or Commerce. Attainment of a MBA, CFA, CIV, or ACA is desirable.
  • Skills: Proven ability to analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on strategic questions and draw conclusions from large and/or complex data sources. Proven ability to partner with other functions/business leaders on complex problems and business issues. The ability to influence and guide stakeholders.

  • Salary: £85K - £95K per annum (negotiable depending on experience).
