We are in search of a Senior Manager, Strategy & Development to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. This role operates on a global scale, reporting directly to the VP of Strategy & Development. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in establishing and implementing the strategic objectives of the organization.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote and office work, with occasional travel requirements.

COMPENSATION: £85K - £95K per annum (negotiable based on experience)

Role Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight

  • Analyze market trends and assess the competitive landscape to gauge their impact on the organization’s strategic direction and identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with clients, competitors, suppliers, and industry organizations.
  • Assess internal and external strategic challenges that may influence growth.

Corporate Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate in the development, management, and execution of the strategic planning process, working across the organization to deliver long-term strategic objectives.

Execution of Strategic Projects

  • Partner with business units and other departments to facilitate and ensure the success of key growth initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the execution of selected strategic projects.

Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Identify and develop a pipeline of M&A opportunities in collaboration with business units, aligned with the overall strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including department heads, managers, and employees, to foster collaboration and alignment on strategic initiatives.

Candidate Qualifications

Ideal Profile:

  • Significant experience gained from a leading consulting firm and/or within an internal strategy department of a high-growth organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commerce; MBA, CFA, CBV, or ACA qualifications are advantageous.
  • Proven track record in assessing business and/or major capital projects that have significantly impacted a high-growth company.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate, and provide recommendations on strategic issues, drawing insights from large and complex data sets.
  • Proven capacity to collaborate with other functions/business leaders on intricate problems and business challenges.
  • Strong ability to influence and guide stakeholders effectively.
