Health and Safety Manager

Job Summary:

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring a positive and proactive approach to Health, Safety, and Environment throughout the business, working closely with the Test operation and overseeing office and remote working across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor Health and Safety processes and standards
  • Support communication and training, as well as analysing and communicating key health and safety data and learning to underpin continuous improvement
  • Support the Test operation through a period of change and health and safety improvements
  • Undertake Risk Assessments, including COSHH and Fire
  • Plan and deliver H&S training
  • Undertake work-based risk assessments, H&S inspections, and audits

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar kind of Health and Safety role, especially in Test or Construction Materials related
  • Knowledge covering a wide range of H&S legislation
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
