Job Summary:
DM Safety and Health Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in the North Thames region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing health and safety support to multiple sites across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out site inspections and site support visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide technical and health and safety support to site management teams.
- Undertake targeted monthly checks to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks.
- Attend monthly meetings with site management teams to discuss health and safety performance.
- Support the client's regional health and safety advisor in the delivery of health and safety services.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver in-house training to site operatives and management teams on health and safety best practices.
Requirements:
- UK-based construction or house building experience.
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role (desirable).
- Available to start immediately.
- UK driving license.
Personal Qualities:
- Strong desire to drive continuous improvement in health and safety on site.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with workforce and management alike.
- Ability to produce detailed, informative reports in a timely manner.
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple site visits and tasks.
- Ability to build strong relationships with site management teams and clients.
