Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor

Job Summary:

DM Safety and Health Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on health and safety matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to site management teams
  • Undertake targeted monthly checks and attend monthly meetings
  • Support client regional HSE advisors and find practical solutions to issues that arise on site
  • Interact with site management teams and build trust and solid working relationships
  • Investigate incidents and accidents
  • Carry out external PC/client inspections and deliver in-house training for operatives and management teams

Requirements:

  • UK-based construction/house building experience
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Available immediately
  • UK driving license

Personal Qualities:

  • Desire to drive continuous improvement of H&S on site
  • Personality to interact with workforce and management alike
  • Ability to produce detailed, informative reports in a timely manner
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to manage diary efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Willingness to travel (some occasional overnight stays required)
