Job Summary:

DM Safety and Health Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in the North Thames region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing health and safety support to multiple sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site inspections and site support visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical and health and safety support to site management teams.
  • Undertake targeted monthly checks to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks.
  • Attend monthly meetings with site management teams to discuss health and safety performance.
  • Support the client's regional health and safety advisor in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Carry out external PC/client inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Deliver in-house training to operatives and management teams on health and safety best practices.

Requirements:

  • UK-based construction/house building experience.
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate.
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role (desirable).
  • Available immediately.
  • UK driving license.

  • Ability to interact with workforce and management alike.
  • Ability to produce detailed, informative reports in a timely manner.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage your diary efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Willingness to travel (some occasional overnight stays may be required).
