Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor
Job Summary:
DM Safety and Health Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on health and safety matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to site management teams
- Undertake targeted monthly checks and attend monthly meetings
- Support client regional HSE advisors and find practical solutions to issues that arise on site
- Interact with site management teams and build trust and solid working relationships
- Investigate incidents and accidents
- Carry out external PC/client inspections and deliver in-house training for operatives and management teams
Requirements:
- UK-based construction/house building experience
- NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate
- 5 years' experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Available immediately
- UK driving license
Personal Qualities:
- Desire to drive continuous improvement of H&S on site
- Personality to interact with workforce and management alike
- Ability to produce detailed, informative reports in a timely manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage diary efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Willingness to travel (some occasional overnight stays required)
