Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Prisons Programme Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of Street Soccer programmes, SCQF qualifications, and activities within several prisons across Scotland.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver Street Soccer programmes and SCQF qualifications within prisons across Scotland.
  • Engage with socially disadvantaged adults and young people in ways that are consistent with Street Soccer policy, values, and ethos.
  • Prepare players for liberation from the criminal justice system and provide support post-release to engage with Street Soccer programmes and partners.
  • Ensure programme delivery reflects the ethos and values of Street Soccer and is compliant with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships vital to the delivery of Street Soccer programmes.
  • Provide leadership, support, and mentoring to players, sessional workers, and volunteers in line with Street Soccer policy, values, and ethos.
  • Work with colleagues to deliver and/or support regional and national events.
  • Manage and monitor health and safety, including completing risk assessments across activities.
  • Effectively manage resources across activities to ensure programme delivery is efficient and effective.
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate records of programme delivery, provided support, and referrals.
  • Ensure effective communication across partners from within and outwith the organisation.
  • Contribute to the development of the organisation and participate in internal meetings and forums.
  • Represent Street Soccer at external meetings and networks.
  • Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance in all activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with Street Soccer Governance, HR, and Operational Policies and Procedures.
