Position Overview

The role of a Housekeeping Team Member is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel environment. You will be tasked with the thorough cleaning and upkeep of all guest areas, which include guest rooms, communal spaces, linen storage, and supply areas, ensuring that our service standards remain exceptional.

Your responsibilities will encompass the cleaning of hotel bedrooms and public spaces in accordance with company protocols and within designated time frames. Familiarity with established cleaning standards and the presentation of various room types is essential, as is the prompt reporting of any damages or maintenance issues to facilitate timely repairs.

Additionally, you will be expected to return all cleaning equipment to their designated storage areas at the end of your shift, while also ensuring that these storage spaces and your work areas are kept organized and tidy.

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail in housekeeping tasks.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a commitment to maintaining clean and well-presented guest accommodations.
  • A reliable team player who is punctual and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard within the allocated time.
  • Physically fit, capable of handling the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving heavy items, standing for extended periods, and working in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and acquire new skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations, along with a solid understanding of the proper use of cleaning tools and chemicals.
