About the Role

This position plays a vital role in delivering administrative assistance to the Waste and Resources Team.

The successful candidate will need to be approachable, adaptable, and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service while demonstrating confidence and initiative.


Daily Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role will involve addressing routine inquiries through a specialized system, email, phone, and in-person communication (for internal staff), while appropriately directing complex queries.

  • Acting as a central point of contact, supporting a team that operates flexibly and may not always be present in the office.
  • Managing databases and overseeing document organization.
  • Carrying out various administrative and office-related tasks as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Formal education, such as GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative team player with a flexible mindset.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Capability to work independently and take initiative.
