Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to lead our Coronary Care Unit as a Director. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the clinical area, including the 8-bedded Coronary Care Unit and the 7-bedded CCU Stepdown area.
  • Ensure the safe delivery of efficient and effective care in accordance with professional and national clinical standards.
  • Provide strong professional leadership and act as a clinical advisor.
  • Manage staff performance and service improvement.
  • Be able to adapt and prioritize duties, undertaking a clinical role when needed, and autonomously managing a caseload of patients.
  • Create a culture that promotes educational development and a positive learning environment for nursing, medical, and other allied health professionals.

  • Essential:
    • BSc
    • Significant senior experience within a relevant clinical field, demonstrating expertise
    • Experience managing staff
    • Experience working effectively within a multidisciplinary team
    • Understanding of budgetary management

    • Supervisory/managerial course/qualification
    • Teaching/assessing qualification
    • ALS trained/trainer
    • MSc
