Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking an enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist to work in our Cardiac Rehabilitation Service for individuals living with cardiac issues. The successful candidate will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team providing services to this population under the supervision of an experienced Practitioner Psychologist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect psychological services to patients, including face-to-face and remote consultations, and group and individual sessions.
- Offer a psychological perspective to Multi-Disciplinary Team colleagues and other staff working with individuals coping with cardiac health issues.
- Routinely evaluate service delivery and provide intelligence to inform service development.
Qualifications
- Doctoral Training in DCOP/DClin Psy or Masters in Health/Forensic Psych.
- Psychology-related Degree 2:1 + (with GBR).
- HCPC registration /or due to register if trainee.
Experience
- Providing specialist psychological assessment to vulnerable groups of people.
- Providing specialist psychological intervention to vulnerable people.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of relevant psychological theory.
- Knowledge and experience of risk assessment.
- Research knowledge and experience.
Skills
- MDT working.
- IT and digital systems.
- Psychometric assessment.
