About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Firearms Licensing Team as a Firearms Enquiry Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the support of effective control of firearms and ammunition to ensure public safety and compliance with legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake visits to applicants' premises to consider security and suitability reviews
  • Provide recommendations regarding risk and suitability
  • Deal with the public and work closely with police colleagues within the organization
Requirements
  • No experience of Firearms Licensing is required as full training will be provided
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
