Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and Assess Risk: Utilize advanced analytical skills to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the integrity of our operations.
- Process Certificate Holders: Initiate risk management processes for certificate holders brought to police attention, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness and reporting of certificate holder activity, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Update Intelligence Systems: Ensure local intelligence systems are updated with new information, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of potential risks and threats.
- Proactive Intelligence Gathering: Utilize investigative skills to gather intelligence and identify unsuitable certificate holders, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Investigative Mindset: Possess an investigative mindset and in-depth knowledge of investigative systems and procedures, with a strong understanding of the Home Office Publication: Firearms Law Guidance to Police.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Medical Assessment: Complete a medical assessment via a questionnaire, which may require a consultation with the Occupational Health Support Unit.
